Part 2: About the Book

2.1	Title (working title is OK).
2.2	Provide a short description (half to full page is sufficient).
2.3	Provide a rough table of contents (if available yet).
2.4	What is the prospective audience for your book?
2.5	What is the major selling point? Why is this book important and useful for its prospective audience?
2.7	What is the level of presentation (beginner, intermediate, advanced)?
2.8	What are the competing titles?
2.9	What is the lifespan/half-life of the material presented in the book?
2.10	Provide 3 keywords that characterize the book.


Part 3: Parameters

3.1	Estimated number of pages.
3.2	Estimated number of illustrations (color, b/w).
3.4	Which program will you use to write your manuscript (MSWord, InDesign, ...)?
3.5	Are you interested in doing the final layout?
