I usually buy books on photography from rockynook. I was eyeing this book for sometime, seeing that I thought it would help my photography if I drew.
The book took a long while to be published and meanwhile, I resorted to other books. I felt that my progress with the other books was inconsistent. I also felt that I lacked some fundamentals.
Fortunately, this book was published recently. I have bought the book, read the introduction and browsed through the book. It seems to be written very methodically. It also covers problematic issues I have encountered with the other two books. So, at the moment I am buying the bit of equipment I will need for the course. In the near future I intend starting to learn how to draw all over again, in a methodical manner this time.

Have been a student of author for 3+ months (online course; awaiting release of book, October 2021) to gr8 + effect on my novice drawing status (brain, eyes, hand have shown improved coordination & cooperation), as I seek to learn art & drawing fundamentals to improve my abstract acrylic pouring activities.
This is a beautiful book. It has lived up to my very high expectations of content and it’s construction (includes an Index which helps students trail topics and related ideas).
I highly recommend this book to students at any skill level and to those seeking to improve their fundamental art and drawing skills without being turned lose on their own without instruction, or being overwhelmed with a veteran artist’s advanced results.
