I’ve reviewed Pfirstinger’s The Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T1 X-Pert Tips books in the past, so this review is pretty much identical. First, Ii’s not a book for everyone- for a beginner who has purchased the X-T20 but has little knowledge of digital photography, this is not the book for you. Rather, this is designed for the experienced shooter who is seeking to best utilize the functionality of a new tool, who understands the fundamentals of digital capture but wants to best utilize the unique strengths of Fuji’s flagship camera.

The greatest value of this book is that the author saves the X-T20 owner countless hours of experimentation and analysis by providing his own first-hand knowledge and evaluation this camera’s functioning. The author is clearly an enthusiast and also an experimenter- he loves the camera, figures out how to maximize its strengths, compensate for weaknesses and be critical when needed.

The Fujifilm X-T20: 125 X-Pert Tips is the perfect next-read for the photographer who has read and understood the manual, a next-step to move from familiarity to mastery of the Fujifilm X-T20.
