      I first ran across a Rocky Nook photography handbook several years ago and have been adding to my library since.

      At first, I was leery of purchasing a “dated” manual but the authors have been very adept at distilling their knowledge into succinct lessons which I have found to be readily “updated” if so needed. They have seized the “inner” core, the basis of which all is built, therefore timeless in applicability.

      One of my most recent purchases was, The Complete Guide to Macro and Close-Up Photography, a most excellent decision as this guide is answering questions I didn’t realize I needed to be asking in addition to breaking down the barriers I had run across while delving into macro photography.

      I am a very satisfied customer. 😀

      If you are into macro photography then this book is is a must. Well written with plenty of images showing how to achieve the best images possible. A gold mine of information. On a scale of one to ten this book is a ten.

      I’ve been a loyal Rockynook customer for years and this book is a great reason why. Many times you’ll see the word “Complete” in the title of a book, but when you get into it you find it’s anything but. The Complete Guide to Macro and Close-Up Photography is about as complete as you’d like or need. From step by step setups to dozens of examples, I don’t think you’ll find a better all in one guide anywhere right now.

      I love the fact you can purchase electronic editions right along with the hard copies. I keep these on my laptop and phone for access in the field (or waiting rooms).

      Another must have addition to your photography library. 6 Stars!
